Span of years: William J. Thompson of Valrico, FL, set the record for longest span of years from first ace to last when he made a hole-in-one on 2/15/1994. His first was in 1925.

Patience record: The longest wait for a male golfer to make his first hole-in-one is 81 years by James Simpson of Dorset, England, who holed out in 1988 at nearly age 90. The women's record is 49 years by Rogene Fearer, of Oregon, IL, in 1985 at age 65.

Two instances of aces being made & others in the foursome made birdie, par & bogey for a foursome scorecard of 1-2-3-4.

Two aces, same player, same round/day: GD has 28 instances, beginning with Thomas (Pete) Barker in 6/1954 at Hot Springs Country Club, hole known. At the time, reported as only the second time in the U.S. a golfer had done this.
